Nov. 28 roundup: Morristown downs Madison in opener

Harry Santen had a hat trick to lift Morristown to a season-opening 7-3 win over Madison at Mennen Arena.

Liam Wilson tallied two goals and an assist, while Jack McKenna, Nick Romano, and Jackson Byrne each dished out three assists for Morristown. Kobi Day also had a goal for Morristown, which moved down from the Mennen Division to the Halvorsen for this season, with Madison taking its place in the Mennen.

Tyler Shannon scored twice for Madison. Sam Gero also had a goal in the loss.

Morristown will take on Mendham in its first Halvorsen contest of the year on Friday at 5:45 at Mennen Arena. Madison, on the other hand, will take on Livingston on Thursday in its next game.
