Sisti stepped in to make his first start of the season in a difficult situation on Tuesday, as he had to face a Mendham team which was on an eight-game unbeaten streak. He delivered one of the top performances of the season, as he stopped 51 of 53 shots in helping KJS defeat Mendham, 4-2.
Lilli Warnock, Morristown-Beard girls, F, Sr.
Warnock had a big week to continue her strong year for the Morristown-Beard girls team. She buried both goals for her team in a 2-1 win over state No. 3 Princeton Day, before adding two goals and an assist in a dominant 7-1 win over Trinity Hall. In total, she has 15 goals and 11 assists this year for a team-high of 26 points.
Jason Cai, Delbarton, G, Sr.
Cai had a huge week for Delbarton, as he earned back-to-back shutouts in wins over state No. 3 Don Bosco (3-0) and Princeton Day (7-0), making 21 and 20 saves in those games, respectively. He has a .938 save percentage this season in leading the 12-1 Green Wave to the state’s No. 1 ranking.
