Mountain Lakes-Boonton 4, KJS United 3
Aiden Reidy scored twice with an assist to lead Mountain Lakes-Boonton to a 4-3 win over KJS United in a Halvorsen Division tilt at Mennen Arena.
Jimmy Holda and Benji Forman each scored, while Caz Kotsen dished out two assists for Mountain Lakes-Boonton. It improved to 5-8 overall, with a 4-3 record in the Halvorsen Division, which is good enough for third place.
Logan Winslow led KJS United with a goal and an assist. Ilya Klevtsov and Joey Kopec each had a goal. KJS dropped to 2-8-3 overall with a 1-3-2 Halvorsen record, and is currently in fourth place. It leads last-place Roxbury by three points, and a win or tie against Roxbury on Wednesday would officially clinch its spot in the Halvorsen Cup.
Morris Knolls-Hills 5, Watchung Hills 0
Luke Dickerson had two goals and an assist to lead Morris Knolls-Hills to a 5-0 win over Watchung Hills at Mennen Arena.
Aiden Chominsky stopped all 22 shots he faced to secure the first shutout of his career for Morris Knolls-Hills, which improved to 11-5-1 overall. Bryan McCarter and Jake McCloud each added two assists, while Ryan Manz and Kyle Thornton each had a goal in the win.
Mount Olive-Hopatcong-Hackettstown 11, Bridgewater-Raritan 2
Ethan Tillery had a hat trick to lead Mount Olive-Hopatcong-Hackettstown to an 11-2 win over Bridgewater-Raritan at Protec Ponds in Somerset.
Adam Twist and Daniel McGarry each had two goals and an assist, while Christian Hertzig had a goal and two assists for Mount Olive (12-3-2). Frank Diloreto had a goal and an assist, with Nicholas Cioce and J.L. O’Toole each adding a goal.
Girls: Hoosac (N.Y.) 3, Morristown-Beard 2
Lilli Warnock scored twice for Morristown-Beard in a 3-2 loss to Hoosac (N.Y) on the road.
It marked the first loss of the year for Morristown-Beard, which fell to 7-1.
