Jan. 17 roundup: Morristown-Beard bounces back, Morris Catholic wins, Bernards suffers 1st loss

Morristown-Beard 3, Pingry 2
Andrew Low scored twice with an assist in Morristown-Beard’s 3-2 win over Pingry at Twin Oaks Ice Rink.

Morristown-Beard snapped a two-game losing streak with this win and improved to 8-7 overall.

Charlie Guida also had a goal and two assists for the Crimson, which outshot Pingry 37-10 in the game.

Morris Catholic-St. Elizabeth 4, West Orange 2
Evan Lord scored twice to lead Morris Catholic-St. Elizabeth to a 4-2 win over West Orange at Mennen Arena.

Tyler Raucci had a goal and an assist, while Nick DiGeronimo also scored for Morris Catholic-St. Elizabeth. Declan Norton dished out two assists and Daniel Mark made 29 saves.

Morris Catholic improved to 3-6-3 with the win.

Ridgewood 7, Bernards-Somerville-Middlesex 4
Jimmy Hathaway had a hat trick and an assist for Bernards-Somerville-Middlesex, but it lost, 7-4 to Ridgewood at Mennen Arena.

Tanner Clemson had a goal and an assist for Bernards-Somerville-Middlesex, which suffered its first loss of the season (7-1-2).
