Nick Thomas had a hat trick and an assist to lift Roxbury to an 8-1 win over Montville at Mennen Arena.
Kyle Jenkins dished out six assists for Roxbury (5-3), which had a 3-0 lead going into the third period before erupting for five goals in the final frame. Jake Kooyenga added a goal and two assists, Randy DePalma and Jake Calanni had a goal and an assist, while Brian Westergaard and Joe DiDomenico each scored. Ryan Callahan made 16 saves.
Owen O’Hara scored the lone goal for Montville (1-3-1).
SETON HALL PREP 4, POPE JOHN 1
Ryan Rodrigues scored twice as Seton Hall Prep picked up a 4-1 win over Pope John at Codey Arena.
Aidan D’Urso and Will Schneider each scored for Seton Hall Prep (3-1-3), which is ranked No. 4 in the state by NJ.com. Nathan Meola scored for Pope John (2-5-1), while Soren Torlucci made 29 saves. Patrick Ackerman made 16 saves for Seton Hall Prep.
BERGEN CATHOLIC 3, DELBARTON 0
Delbarton could not solve Bergen Catholic goaltender Ryan Henry in a 3-0 loss at Aspen Ice.
Henry recorded an 18-save shutout for Bergen Catholic (7-1), which is ranked No. 2 in the state by NJ.com. Shane Carr, Antonio Arcaroli, and Mick Thompson each scored for the Crusaders.
Brett Cleaves stopped 25 of 28 shots for Delbarton (3-2-1).
SUMMIT 4, MOUNTAIN LAKES-BOONTON 0
Despite a 35-save performance from Cullen Fagan, Mountain Lakes-Boonton saw its eight-game winning streak come to an end with a 4-0 loss to Summit at Warinanco Park.
Greg Slater, Drew McLaughlin, Connor Fallon, and Daniel Flaim each scored for Summit (3-2).
