Mendham pulled off a stunning upset, as it earned a 2-0 win over Chatham at Mennen Arena.

The win improved Mendham to 9-5-5, and dropped Chatham to 8-7-2. It marked Chatham’s fourth-consecutive loss. It marked Mendham’s first win over a Mennen Division team since 2013-14.

Mendham 4, Sparta-Jefferson 1

Mendham clinched the third seed in the Halvorsen Cup with a 4-1 win over Sparta-Jefferson at Skylands Ice World.

The Minutemen (8-5-5) were led by a two-goal performance from E.J. Gleie, and also received goals from Tristan Aikenhead and Gavin Marshuetz. Connor McDonough made 14 saves in the win.

The win secured Mendham the third seed in the Halvorsen Cup, and it will face sixth seed Kinnelon at a time and date to be determined.

Matthew Francescutto scored the lone goal for Sparta-Jefferson (4-9-3).

Mountain Lakes-Boonton 1, West Morris 1

Mountain Lakes-Boonton and West Morris skated to a 1-1 tie in a key Haas Division battle on Monday night at Mennen Arena.

It marked the final divisional game for Mountain Lakes-Boonton, which finished 11-1-4 with 26 points and holds first place for the time being. But if Park Regional wins its final two games, it would overtake Mountain Lakes for first, and Mount Olive could tie Mountain Lakes if it wins its final game.
