Cormac McNamara and Sean Hoover each scored third period goals to help Madison come from behind to top Montville, 2-1, at Mennen Arena.
Montville (11-4-2) took the lead in the second period on Brendan Perretta’s goal. But Madison (7-9-1) goalie Keaton Tom made sure the Mustangs wouldn’t add another, as he stopped 45 of the 46 shots he faced, paving the way for McNamara and Hoover to pull off the win in the third.
Adrian Prelich made 25 saves for Montville.
Park Regional 3, High Point-Wallkill Valley 0
Angelo DePinto had a goal and an assist to lift Park Regional to a 3-0 win over High Point-Wallkill Valley at Skylands Ice World.
Ed Karpinski and Michael Shauger each scored for Park Regional (12-1-4), which out-shot High Point-WV, 75-7. A.J. Schauder stopped all seven shots for the shutout.
High Point-Wallkill Valley’s Tai Ruvo recorded 72 saves in the contest, keeping his team in the game.
Morristown 1, Mendham 1
Jack McKenna’s goal late in the third period helped Morristown earn a 1-1 tie with Mendham at Mennen Arena.
Liam Lloyd gave Mendham (6-4-4) the lead early in the second, before McKenna struck with over six minutes left in the third to tie it.
Dylan Peck made 24 saves for Morristown (8-7-3), while Connor McDonough stopped 29 shots for Mendham.
