Dec. 21 recap: Mount Olive, Mountain Lakes earn wins

Mount Olive-Hopatcong-Hackettstown 5, High Point-Wallkill Valley 2

Evan Parr scored twice and had two assists to lift Mount Olive-Hopatcong-Hackettstown to a 5-2 win over High Point-Wallkill Valley at Skylands Ice Wor.d

Thomas and Nicholas Cioce each recorded a goal and two assists for Mount Olive (5-1-1). Liam Murphy added a goal, while Zach Bahammou made 14 saves.

Brandon Mudrick and Cooper Williams each scored for High Point-Wallkill Valley. Tai Ruvo made 45 saves in the loss.

Mountain Lakes-Boonton 11, Morris Catholic-DePaul 2

Nine different players found the back of the net as Mountain Lakes-Boonton remained unbeaten with a dominant win over Morris Catholic-DePaul at Mennen Arena.

Jimmy Holda had a hat trick and an assist for Mountain Lakes, which improved its record to 6-0-1. Aidan Reidy had a goal and three assists, while John Lane added a goal and two assists. Griffin O’Shaughnessy, Finn Daggy, Cole Groeneveld, Caz Kotsen, Andy Barrasso, and Tyler Shaloub each added goals in the win. Ben Polizzi made 12 saves.

Nicholas Pankowski scored twice for Morris Catholic.
