GILL ST. BERNARD’S

Coach: Greg DaSilva/Chris Wiggins

Last year: 8-6-5, Haas Cup semifinalist, lost in Non-Public first round

Key losses: A.J. Donofrio

Top returners: Matthew Bloomenthal (10 g., 8 a.), So.; Matt Cooper (.886 sv%), Jr., G; Vincent Cucci, Jr.; Liam Jones (7 g., 4 a.), Jr; Brenen Lavoie (10 g., 10 a.), Jr.; Edward McCarthy (5 g., 7 a.), Sr.; Christian Mote (7 g., 10 a.), So.; Logan Mote (8 g., 6 a.), So.; Jake Schmidt, Jr; Alex Steinberg (.903 sv%) , So., G; Connor Udoff, Jr.

Outlook: The Knights, which recently went multiple years without winning a game, burst onto the scene last year and accomplished the program’s first winning season and first state tournament appearance. Now, the question is will it be able to build on that and take another step towards a Haas Cup title?

HIGH POINT-WALLKILL VALLEY

Coach: Mike Beltran, 15th year

Last year: 10-11-2, Sussex Cup finalist, Haas Cup semifinalist, lost in Public B first round

Key losses: Remy Hautau, D; Brayden Gebauer, D; Eric Honold, F/D; Steven Line, F; Peter Pazkiel, F/D.

Top returners: Luca Carnemolla (8 g., 5 a.), So., F; Collin Gibson, Sr., D; Devin Haines (2 g., 9 a.), Jr., F; Maddy Hennion, Jr., F; Mike Massari, Sr., F; Brandon Mudrick (18 g., 10 a.), Jr., F; Tai Ruvo (.914 sv%), Sr., G; Cooper Williams (18 a.), Sr., D.

Newcomers to watch: Antonio Ciasullo, So., D; Dan Galate, So., F.

Outlook: High Point-WV lost a lot of key pieces to graduation from last season. It still has one of the top goalies in the division in Ruvo as well as some strong forwards in Carnemolla, Haines, and Mudrick, and it will come down to how quickly the newcomers adapt to the system.

Outlook: Morris Catholic- which is entering its fifth year as a program after it was re-established in 2015- will look to rebound from a winless season with a good amount of returning players from that squad.

MOUNT OLIVE-HOPATCONG-HACKETTSTOWN

Coach: Mike Behre, 11th season (109-109-18 career record)

Last year: 10-12-3, Haas Cup quarterfinals, Public A Round of 16

Key losses: Blake Corbett, F; Kevin Murphy, D; Darren Roebuck, F; John Salvia, F; Michael Veronda, G.

Top returners: Jason Bonante (.874 sv%), Jr., D/G; Thomas Cioce (11 g., 17 a.), So., F; Ian Deiling, Sr., D; Jarrett Luciani, Jr., F; Evan Parr (18 g., 13 a.), Jr., F/D; Sean Pederson, So., F; Ian Yori, Jr., F.

Outlook: The tri-op lost its top scorer in Corbett along with some other key pieces from a year ago. Cioce and Parr are back to lead the offense, but how quickly will this young team come together?

Key losses: Carter Fordyce, Harp Lane, Anthony Figueroa, Markus Truumees

Top returners: Finn Daggy, Jr., F; Cameron Egan (6 g., 9 a.), Jr., F; Daniel Fazendeiro, So., F; Cole Groeneveld, So., D; Jimmy Holda, So., F; Caz Kotsen (3 g., 6 a.), So., F; John Lane (6 g., 2 a.), So., F; Griffen O’Shoughnessy (5 g., 7 a.), Jr., D; Ben Polizzi (.912 sv%), Sr., G; Aiden Reidy (9 g., 5 a.), So., F; Jaiden Rutrick, Jr., F; Tyler Shaloub (3 g., 5 a.), Jr., D.

Newcomers to watch: Andy Barrasso, Fr; Kieran Christy, Fr; Logan Przestrzelski, Fr.

Outlook: Even in its losses in 2018-19, Mountain Lakes-Boonton was competitive. This figures to be one of the younger teams in the Haas Division, but it expects to be in the mix for the Haas Cup title this year.

NEWTON-LENAPE VALLEY

Coach: Ryan Sevean

Last year: 5-18-1, lost in Haas Cup quarterfinals

Key losses: Liam Cherry, D/F; Nick Hind, D; Jake Kaplan, F; Sean Lyman, F; Tyler Miller, F; Ryan Westerfield, F; Dylan Wojdyla, F.

Top returners: Joey Baty, Sr., D; Cameron Cherry (5 g., 5 a.), Jr., D; Michael Cinotti, Jr., F; Ryan Flannery-Garlick, So., F; Hunter Givone, Jr., F; Kyler Kane, So., F; Trey Kaplan, Jr., G; Lukas Krauklis, So., D; Ryan Lynch, So., D; Matthew Murphy, So., F; Eric Nemeth, So., D; Stefano Patamia, Sr., F; Mike Smith, Sr., F; Matt Smith, Sr., F.

Outlook: Newton-LV had a down year in 2019, but competed well in some close games down the stretch, culminating with a 4-3 win over Mount Olive in the regular season finale. Will it be able to turn some of those good efforts into wins and get back into the state playoffs?

PARK REGIONAL

Coach: Tom Levis, 25th year (268 career wins)

Last year: 14-9-3, Haas Cup runner-up, lost in Public B first round

Key losses: Ryan Breen, F; Jordan Handler, F; Justin Lerner, D; Ryan Salus, F; Chris Schneider, G;

Top returners: Stephen Carter (7 g., 4 a.), Sr., D; Tyler Cross (15 g., 28 a.), Sr., F; Joey DeMartinis, (14 g., 4 a.) Sr., F; Angelo DePinto (16 g., 17 a.), Jr., F; Mike DeRosa (4 g., 7 a.), Sr., D; Mike Schauger, Sr., D; A.J. Schauder, So., G; Jack Stein, Sr., D.

Newcomers to watch: Matt Carter, Fr., G; Eddie Karpinski (transfer), So., D; Wyatt Lieto, Fr., D; Mike Monahan, Fr., F.

Outlook: The Whippany Park/Hanover Park co-op has its eyes set on a Haas Cup title once again after falling in the final last year. It has a strong core returning which should once again finish in the top part of the division.

PARSIPPANY REGIONAL (Parsippany Hills-Parsippany co-op)

Coach: Anthony Egidio, fourth year

Last year: 4-15-3, lost in Haas Cup quarterfinals

Key losses: Frank Baccaro, D; Patrick Lanigan, D/F.

Top returners: Suveer Singh, Sr., F; Jake Weiss (6 g., 14 a.), Sr., F; Justin Wellman (.885 sv%), Sr., G; David Zilinskis, So., D

Newcomers to watch: Kyle Kirk, Fr., D; Larry Liu, Fr., F.

Outlook: While short on numbers, Parsippany still has some standouts in Weiss and Wellman back in the fold this year and should take a step forward with an experienced group that lost just a handful of seniors from a year ago.

WEST MORRIS CENTRAL

Coach: Phil Togno, fourth year (21-40-7 career record)

Last year: 4-17-1, lost in Halvorsen Cup first round

Key losses: Andrew Bauer, F; Kieran Gruby, D; Zack Mosser, F.

Top returners: Nick Francione (7 g., 7 a.), Sr., F; Timmy Hall, Sr., F; Max Michalski, So., D; Tyler Musilek, So., D; Angelo Palome, Sr., D; Enzo Palome, So., G; Kyle Rowe (3 g., 5 a.), Sr., F; Andrew Spina (4 g., 3 a.), Jr., F; Cameron Veno (3 g., 12 a.), Sr., D.

Newcomers to watch: Dylan Babb, Fr., F; Jake Calhoun, Fr., G; Matt Healy, Fr., F; Will Lindquist, Fr., D; Nathan Meola, Fr., F; Jimmy Thompson, Fr., D; Phil Togno, Fr., G.

Outlook: After a last-place finish in the Halvorsen last year, West Morris dropped down to the Haas Division for this year. This team will rely on a lot of freshman and sophomore talent- how quickly it comes together will determine how far it can go in this division.
