The seeds and schedule for the 18th Halvorsen Cup have been finalized, and play is set to begin on Tuesday night with a first-round doubleheader at Mennen Arena.
Mendham and Park Regional are the top two seeds respectively, and will earn byes into the semifinals. West Morris, Mount Olive, Montville, and Madison round out the qualifying field. Madison qualified as the last team in thanks to a win over Gill St. Bernard’s on Sunday, followed by a Montville win over Gill St. Bernard’s which eliminated the Knights from contention.
The first round will be played on Tuesday, with the semifinals on Thursday and Friday. The final is set for Monday, Feb. 10 at 6:30 p.m. as part of a triple-header with the Mennen and Haas Cups.
