Olszewski hits milestone in leading Park Regional to win
Chase Olszewski scored the game-winning goal in the third period- which happened to be the 100th point of his career- to lift Park Regional to a 3-2 win over Madison in Halvorsen Division play at Mennen Arena.
Olszewski, a junior, had a goal and an assist, and now has 67 goals and 33 assists to his name in his career. Dylan Gnardellis and Andrew Steinberg each found the back of the net, while Anthony Perrello made 15 saves.
Park Regional improved to 7-4-2 and 5-2-1 in the division, which is good enough for third place. It was the team’s fourth win in a row, and will look to make it five on Saturday when it faces Mount Olive-Hopatcong-Hackettstown.
Madison is now 2-13 with a 1-7 mark in the division. It will face Mendham on Monday.
Montville shines under bright lights at the Rock
Logan Engle scored twice with an assist to lead Montville to a 5-0 win over Roxbury in a game played at Newark’s Prudential Center, home of the New Jersey Devils.
Anthony Wegorowski had two assists, while Aidan Rankin, Ari Robbins, and Marco Van De Graaf each found the back of the net for Montville (5-7). Dylan Hunter stopped all 24 shots he faced to earn the shutout. The Mustangs will face Park Regional on Tuesday.
Julia Katz made eight saves and Mikey Guadagnino made 11 saves for Roxbury (9-3). It will face High Point-Wallkill Valley-Kittatinny on Saturday.
Young’s hat trick leads Chatham past Morristown
Owen Young had a hat trick to lead Chatham to a 5-0 win over Morristown in Mennen Division play at Mennen Arena.
Roman Kostrowski and Evan Thomas each had a goal and an assist for Chatham, which improved to 7-8 overall and 5-4 in the division. Isaac Suh dished out two assists, while Snowden Lange made 28 saves to earn the shutout.
Artie Conover made 23 saves for Morristown (3-10-1, 2-7-0-1).
Chatham will face Morris Knolls-Hills on Monday, while Morristown will see Montclair Kimberley next Friday.
Delbarton keeps it rolling against St. Augustine
Jack Ross had a goal and two assists to lead Delbarton to a 5-2 win over St. Augustine at SportsCare Arena in Gordon Conference play.
Aidan Pasic and Dante Rodriguez each had a goal and an assist, while Egor Andreev had two assists for Delbarton (9-0-1). George Cote made 14 saves in the win.
Delbarton will take on Princeton Day on Tuesday.
