MORRISTOWN RALLIES PAST MADISON IN THIRD PERIOD
After going into the third period trailing by a goal, Morristown rattled off four-straight goals to take home a 6-3 win over Madison in a crossover game at Mennen Arena.
Madison led, 3-2 after two periods thanks to a goal from Jonathan Erickson, and two from Sam Gero. But Scott Williams netted the game-tying goal, before Brody Toye scored what proved to be the game-winner.
Toye finished with five points- a hat trick and two assists. Liam Wilson contributed a goal and three assists, while Jackson Byrne had a goal and an assist. Thatcher Neville made 19 saves in the win.
Morristown improved to 3-5-1 with the win.
Sam Gero finished with two goals and an assist for Madison, which is now 4-7.
CHATHAM GETS BACK ON TRACK
After a tough loss to Ridge earlier this week, Chatham bounced back with an emphatic 7-2 win over Mount Olive-Hopatcong-Hackettstown in a crossover game at Mennen Arena.
Dillon Gagliardi led the way with a goal and two assists for the Cougars, who are now 7-3 on the season. Thomas White, Luc D’Costa, and Charlie Dunn each found the back of the net, while Nate May stopped 15 shots in the win.
